YME is responsible for co-ordinating the marketing and sales activities of Yamaha Motor products in the European market, mainly: Yamaha motorcycles and scooters, marine outboard engines, Yam inflatable boats, water vehicles, 4-wheel all terrain vehicles (ATV’s), golf cars, generators, snowmobiles and electro-hybrid bicycle systems.

Yamaha has also invested in several facilities located in France, Spain, Italy and Turkey which manufacture a range of products including motorcycles, scooters and outboard engines. Totally designed, developed and manufactured in Europe, the YP125R Majesty, is an excellent example of how European R&D divisions and production facilities are working together to create new class-leading products for the 21st century. The highly successful BT1100 Bulldog motorcycle, manufactured in Italy, is another example of this collaboration.
